Seth Lakeman takes a solo break from his headline The Granite Way tour with a welcome return to Lighthorne - a year after he rocked the Antelope Tent.

Lighthorne Folk is again immensely proud that he has chosen to play here - one of his very few intimate performances for 2025 - in a year of big-venue gigs across the UK and Europe. Seth will again play the Tent on Friday July 11, 2025.

Tickets are £27.00 (inc a £2 booking fee). There will be unreserved seating. Doors at 7pm. Gig starts at 8pm. Support from Lighthorne favourites Mick Bisiker and Friends. Lighthorne is the only Seth Lakeman gig currently planned for this area.

Tickets are being offered in the first instance to our loyal supporters on the Lighthorne Folk mailing list. There is limited availability. Any unsold tickets will go up on sale on the Seth Lakeman website where they are expected to sell within minutes.  Don’t miss out………

TRACK DOGS were brilliant!

Track Dogs in Lighthorne November 2024
So sorry if you missed Track Dogs on 23rd November - it was a fantastic concert.

No band match Track Dogs for turning a gig into an event.

Their obvious enjoyment, very funny repartee and banter with the audience create such a strong connection that it's impossible not to have a great time. And their music is guaranteed to make sure you leave much happier than when you arrived.

If you missed them, we'll be inviting them back. If you can't wait, find them on YouTube and Spotify - or visit their website for a list of their upcoming gigs.

Show of Hands concert raises nearly £1,000

for St. Laurence's Church

On 16th February, SHOW OF HANDS played a concert as part of their Full Circle tour, which celebrates the duo's decades long career.

Nigel Dick, bell-ringer-in chief (Tower Captain) at St. Laurence's, Lighthorne, suggested to the Lighthorne Folk committee that the concert could raise money for the church - and that the church could host the concert.
So that's what we did.
What a good idea it turned out to be. A capacity crowd enjoyed a wonderful concert in a magical setting. And we all generated some much needed money for the church.
If you missed it, here are a few photos.
