Monday Live Music Sessions

The first Monday of the Month

Boe-Jigge

Supported by Bob Wilkinson

Monday 5th October - Doors open 7.00pm, on stage 7.30pm

St Laurence's Church, Church Lane, Lighthorne CV35 0AR

"Absolutely astonishing!"

Boe-Jigge is a vibrant group of five excellent musicians who will take you on a playful journey through folk, jazz and classical styles, weaving together personal stories, Shakespearen tales, heart-warming tunes about apple crumble and joyous songs celebrating life's pleasures. And who couldn't use an evening of life's pleasures?
Their playing is lively, imaginative and full of warmth, with exciting, sparky and good-humoured performances from start to finish.

"One of the most accomplished groups I have ever heard at Lighthorne!"

Monday Live Music Sessions

Typically we'll have two acts for each session - Headline plus Support.

Audience entrance is free and we make a bank note collection, which we distribute to the performers.

We can't guarantee what performers receive, work on the Headline act getting around £100 - £130 and the Support £25 - £50.

We book performers that we have seen live - unless, in exceptional circumstances, they come highly recommended by another trusted performer who has played at Lighthorne.

We tend to book well in advance so if you'd like to play in the Live Music Session, it could take some time from initial contact before an available slot. Usually, a act's first appearance is as support.
